There are many types of Moisture Absorber, and not every desiccant can be reused. Desiccant can be roughly divided into two categories according to the drying type: chemical reaction desiccant and physical adsorption desiccant.

Chemical reaction type Moisture Absorber is a kind of desiccant that chemically reacts the raw material of desiccant with the water vapor in the air to generate another substance to achieve the effect of moisture absorption. The drying process is irreversible, so this kind of desiccant generally cannot be reused. Physical adsorption desiccants such as silica gel desiccant, montmorillonite desiccant, etc., have well-developed adsorption pore sizes inside the raw materials, through which the moisture in the air can be adsorbed and locked in it firmly. This type of desiccant has hygroscopic properties. And the characteristics of moisture release, it can be reused.

How to reuse Moisture Absorber:

1) Expose to the sun, and evaporate the water locked inside the Moisture Absorber through high temperature. Since the exposure temperature is not high enough, only a part of the water can be removed, and the effect of repeated use will not be very good.

2) Through high temperature baking, it can be baked at 80-120 ℃, which can remove the moisture inside the Moisture Absorber to the greatest extent.
